Welcome to Community School Builder and to an exciting school year of teaching and learning. We are committed to providing for you and your children with a quality education. We are fully staffed with highly qualified teachers. We are determined to improve student performance. Our teachers are focused, working harder and smarter. Based on a needs assessment at the end of last school year we have developed an instructional action plan for this school year. Part of this action plan included a new scope and sequence for each grade and subject. Benchmarks that are inline with the new scope and sequence. We have launched a new website that we enable our school to strengthen our both parental involvement and community building initiatives. Better communication with our parents and improving parental involvement will help build the foundation for a solid learning environment

We are trying out a couple of new ideas. We have paired off teachers in 3^rd through 5^th grade to form teams. This teaming concept will lessen the main four subjects taught down to two per teacher. One teacher will teach math and science, the partner teacher will teach language arts and social studies. Schools that have tried this concept have had great success in improving student achievements.
